Deschloroetizolam (Etizolam-2) is a substance of the thienodiazepine class, an analogue of etizolam and is closely related to it, as well as to triazolam, and alprazolam (Xanax). This substance acts as an anxiolytic, sedative, hypnotic, muscle relaxant, anticonvulsant, amnesic agent, as well as an antidepressant.
Deschloroetizolam is 2 times stronger than its original compound etizolam and 5 times stronger than diazepam.
The chemical structure of Deschloroetizolam, where the benzene ring is replaced by a thiophene (thienodiazepine), is a seven-membered ring with two nitrogenous components in R1 and R4, and the chlorine atom is removed in the 2 position of the phenyl ring (unlike ethizolam). The ethyl chain is connected to the structure at point R7, the phenyl ring is connected to the structure at point R5, and also contains a methylated triazole ring connected to R1 and R2 of the diazepine ring.
Deschloroetizolam acts on the site of the benzodiazepine receptor, the neurotransmitter of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which leads to a sedative or calming effect.
High dosages of the substance can lead to respiratory depression, half to death, as it has an extremely strong sedative effect.
This drug is approved for research and scientific purposes in many countries, including the EU, but is a controlled substance in countries such as Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Switzerland, Sweden.
Deschloroetizolam is a designer benzodiazepine drug and its toxicological and pharmacological properties are under investigation and not fully understood. This chemical is intended for research and identification of properties, in special rooms, on special laboratory equipment, in compliance with all safety measures.
